Another SMART Win!
We are excited to announce that Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) notified us that they intend to award Stacy Witbeck a contract for the Windsor Extension Project.
This is a design-build project for a 3.1-mile extension of the commuter rail line from the northern limits of Santa Rosa to downtown Windsor, California. STV Incorporated is our lead designer. The project includes ballasted track, five new railroad bridges, two new pedestrian bridges, a station and parking lot in downtown Windsor, and roadway improvements on Airport Boulevard. The design will begin immediately, and the project is scheduled to be completed in mid-2021.
