Stacy Witbeck was the managing joint venture partner on this $199 million CM/GC project for a 5.5-mile extension of UTA’s light rail system. The alignment was partly located in a dedicated corridor and partly in city streets, with crossings over both the Jordan River and the I-215 freeway. The project included the construction of five bridge structures, including a 730 ft. steel girder bridge over an active Union Pacific railroad yard, four station platforms, MSE walls, public and private utility relocations, tie-in connections to the existing light rail system, and associated OCS and systems construction.
