This $9.4 million CM/GC project was for constructing an accessible pedestrian and cyclist crossing over the Union Pacific freight and TriMet light rail tracks between SE 14th Avenue and SE 13th Place in Portland. The project included erecting a 142 ft long, 100-ton structural steel span across three sets of light rail tracks and two sets of freight tracks, four steel towers, two stairways, and two elevators.
This crossing restored the connection in SE Portland's Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood, which was eliminated due to the construction of the TriMet Orange Line MAX tracks.
