This was a $117 million GC/CM project for a 3.15-mile light rail system extension. The project featured the installation of tracks and systems through two bored tunnels and two stations. Scope included the installation of 6.3 miles of direct fixation trackwork, including a No. 6 double crossover with an industry-first movable point frog for light rail to reduce noise and vibration. Signaling, traction power substations, an overhead catenary system, communications systems, and replacement of existing communication system elements.
