Point Defiance Bypass Track and Signals

This $61 million bid-build project consisted of constructing 11 miles of mainline freight tracks, four miles of new second main tracks, replacing one railroad trestle, improvements and reconstruction of three bridges, four grade crossing removal and replacements, drainage improvements, and retaining walls. Systems included grade crossing warning systems, wayside signals, CTC and PTC systems, and cutover with BNSF dispatch.
