Stacy Witbeck was the managing joint venture partner on this $92 million project to construct a 9.1-mile double-tracked segment that runs BART’s first DMU trains. The extension is located in the median of State Route 4, one of the busiest highways in the area, which posed logistical challenges for access and staging in the narrow corridor.
