Stacy Witbeck is the managing joint venture partner on this GC/CM project. This high-profile project is a 1.9-mile segment of Sound Transit's East Link light rail extension. The project includes an at-grade and elevated guideway, track within a tunnel, retained cut/fill segments, cast-in-place and precast bridge construction, four stations, utilities, and civil for systems infrastructure.
The project is in a congested environment and constrained rights of way. One station is in downtown Bellevue, directly adjacent to City Hall, and the alignment proceeds east across Interstate 405. Much work is done at night to mitigate impacts on the traveling public.
